35 Minute KNEE FRIENDLY Cardio Workout + KNEE Strengthening Exercises

Your knees are going to *love* this super sweaty KNEE FRIENDLY cardio workout, and so is the rest of you! We’re burning about 200 calories with LOW IMPACT, squat-free exercises that are designed to protect and strengthen your knee joints.

Plus, we’re doing a handful of PT-approved seated knee exercises to isolate and strengthen the muscles that surround and support your knee!

This fabulous routine needs no equipment, has no jumping or transitions to the ground and includes a warm up and cool down.

SET UP:
HIIT timer is set for 15 seconds; work in short ladders (stepstools!) by adding one exercise each round; complete each stepstool twice

WARM UP:
Arm Circles with High Knees
Arm Crossers with Booty Kickers

Stepstool 4:
Middle Skips

Twisting Kicks

Stepstool 5:
Ceiling Touches with Back Taps
Forward Hinge Tip-Toes
Leg Twister Jacks

FINISHER (all SEATED; complete approximately five on each side):
Knees to Chest
Leg Straighteners
Straight Leg Lifts
Single Leg Stand Ups
