Level THREE | 2:00 RUN + 1:00 WALK | 200 calories
Hey, let’s talk about getting OLDER! That’s an exciting topic, right? ? I know. But we’re going to chat about it anyway, and we’ll go for a really lovely WALK + RUN at the same time with generous intervals.
I have good news and bad news about your athleticism, and believe me when I tell you that I’m going to deliver it bluntly!
The bad news:
? We were (with some exceptions) at our athletic peak at age 30.
? We have a LOT more life (hopefully) after age 30 than before.
? We have to deal with this fact by grieving and eventually accepting our physical decline
The good news:
? You can enjoy your athleticism without trying to improve on it.
? You can try new things and experience the thrill of getting better at those things for many years
The part where I start to cry:
? I’m kind of still in the middle of grieving (for several things, not just the loss of youth!), and I don’t have it all figured out just yet, so I’d love to hear from you. Wherever you are on the “bell curve of life” YOU have experience that’s worth sharing, so please do! Leave a comment!
